Dwr Cymru Welsh Water, through the North Wales Cycling Centre of Excellence Project, has undertaken a programme of improvements to the Visitor Centre
The work has been funded through the European Regional Development Fund and administered by the Welsh Government. TACP Architects have provided full architectural services for the project, which expanded and modernised the visitor cafe and terrace, providing for a new cycle hire and cyclist support centre, dedicated fishing shop and angling information point.
TACP Architects also explored further enhancement opportunities and provided a concept masterplan for the site. The masterplan provided additional car parking, opportunities for a woodland cycle track, lake-side boardwalks and fishing pegs, a shelter for events and expanded children’s play area.
